Our story

A family-run agency founded on loss, love, and a shared calling to care for others.

A caregiver and an older woman talking together on the sofa at home

Pauliz Homecare Agency was born out of loss, love, and a shared calling to care for others.

For me, Paul, the journey began with the sudden death of my father after a brief illness. He did not receive the attention and care he needed, and losing him that way changed my life. I had always found joy in helping people, especially children and the elderly, and I first gave back through a career in education. My father's passing gave me a new purpose: to make sure other families do not go through what mine did, and to be directly involved in caring for people when they are most vulnerable.

My wife, Elizabeth, shares that calling. She has worked as a carer for almost a decade, and she knows firsthand what good care in a person's home looks like: patience, consistency, and respect for every client.

We have both trained in care, and we are each continuing our education so that we keep growing in the skills and knowledge our clients deserve.

Together, we saw how many older adults and people with disabilities want to stay in the homes they love, and how many families struggle to find caregivers they can trust. We started Pauliz Homecare Agency to meet that need. We want to treat every client the way we wish my father had been treated: with attention, dignity, and genuine compassion.
